Commitment and drive best describe Annette’s FUNctional Aquatics.
It’s been a spirited 17 years in occupational therapy service which has resulted in the reputation for getting things done right.
She is a member of American Occupational Therapy Association and the Aquatic Therapy Rehab Institute. Annette graduated locally from the University of New Mexico where she attained her OT Bachelor of Science in 1999. Following the academic years, school settings, and community service influenced Annette’s therapy intervention and pediatric orientation.
Annette found a voice for the underserved and naturally, providing treatments to adults on the DD Waiver specializing in Aquatic Therapy Sensory Integration is where the magic happened.
Empowering her clients with the right tools inspired her to open her own clinic. A unique therapy experience was the result.
FUNctional Aquatics Therapy opened its doors in 2013.
Today, FUNctional Aquatics Therapy continues to thrive by treating clients across the lifespan from early intervention, children, and adults with physical and developmental disabilities. Annette prides herself in staying up to date on the latest treatments and research and to educate her staff to continue providing the best quality care for every client.
