Cynthia Medina was born and raised in New Mexico. In 2008 she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Mexico. She went on to work within underserved communities to inspire higher education. In 2012 she received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy to continue her work serving her New Mexico community. She is currently dividing her time between her most valued roles, as a wife and mother to her two children and serving as an Occupational Therapist in a skilled nursing facility as well as providing contract work through Functional Aquatics. Her overall goals are to enhance her community through helping her clients achieve their highest potential and increase their overall quality of life.
