Shelby is an affectionate, optimistic, and understanding individual who has experience, and enjoys working with clients ranging from children of all ages to the elderly in and out of the DD Waiver population. She was born and raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico. She graduated from Los Alamos High School in 2011. While attending Adams State University, and completing general education classes,she also participated as a team member of the Adams State University Woman’s Soccer team. She moved to Albuquerque at the end of 2012 where she started attending Brown Mackie College for her Occupational Therapy Assistant associate’s degree. She completed her degree program and graduating in 2014. Once done, she then completed her first rotation of a 2 month internship at FUNctional Aquatics Therapy, while completing her second rotation of her internship at Heritage Home Health Care. Now she is currently a proud coworker of the FUNctional Aquatics Therapy Team where she is a full time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Annette Hashimoto, OT/L.
